FINALS TIE-BREAK

 

          If at the conclusion of the sixth set both teams have won the same number of games and sets, then the result of the match will be decided by a 12 point tie-break between the players of the sixth set:-

  •               The Player whose turn it is to serve will be the server for the first point.  Thereafter, each player will serve in rotation for two points until the tie-break game is concluded.

  •               From the first point, each service will be delivered alternatively from the right and left courts beginning at the right court.

  •               Players shall change ends after every six points

  •               The team which first wins seven points shall win the game provided it leads by a margin of two points.  If the score reaches six points all, the game shall be extended until this margin has been achieved.  Numerical scoring shall be used throughout the tie-break game.
